Emergency
Are you prepared in case of an emergency for your cat such as a fire, flood, and other natural disasters?
I’m sure your cat will appreciate an evacuation plan in place so that her owner knows exactly what to do when in an emergency – take your feline friend with you!!!
Make sure of the following:
- All your family members know where your cat’s carrier is.
- Place a tag on your cat’s carrier with your contact information
- Your cat is wearing a collar with your contact information.
- If you haven’t done it yet, it is good to have your cat micro-chipped at your vet.
What do we need to prepare for an emergency?
- Cat Food – at least 3 days worth of food (canned or dried)
- Bottled Water
- Can Opener
- Plastic Bags for poops, etc.
- Baby Wipes
- Disposable Gloves
- Blankets with your scent on it
- Food Bowl
- Water Bowl
- Your Cat’s Favorite Toy
- Cat Harness and A Leash
- Pet’s First Aid Kit (you can purchase on-line at www.ASPCA.org)
